How To Resolve Your Internal Conflict That’s Preventing You From Achieving Success
What we’re talking about here is essentially plain old “Conflict Resolution”. In this case, your own Internal Conflict Resolution which requires identifying (see last 2 blog posts) and then resolution and clearing.

Step 1: Be Very Clear About What Kind of Life You Want and Desire and Be Totally Committed To Achieving It…
When you get clear about that, and deal with and release your internal conflict and resistance around it, you’ll be propelled even faster towards your Vision and you’ll make major strides forward in your progress to Success…
Using Law of Attraction principles, your Vision needs to be crystal clear, true and authentic to you.
It’s vital to avoid vagueness, doubting, procrastinating, sitting on the fence, changing from one thing to another as you waver about your many options, or feeling lost…
As you create your Vision, internal conflict and resistance will undoubtedly come up. You’re only human, with your own set of circumstances.
When you do attraction work, you start changing your predominant vibration, so you’ve got to be prepared for a bumpy ride with some turbulence and disarray.
That’s why you’ve got to be unwavering and very clear that the Vision you create for yourself is truly, genuinely and authentically what you want in your heart and soul.
If you can’t commit to it 100% to see it through all the way, when things get bumpy, rocky, setbacks and criticisms come at you, relationships get tricky rocky , you could bail out right in the middle of your journey toward Success.
Remember also that ego is resistant. At the end, when you’re releasing things, sometimes the ego will hold on so tightly and just doesn’t want to release it.
Step 2: Identify Your Internal Conflict and Resistance and Clear It
Here are some tips to help you clear your Internal Conflict and Resistance:
2.1 Listen to Your Language and Internal Dialogue
When you think and talk about what you want, listen for the “Yes, OK, Buts”…
For example, “YES, I really want to have a wildly successful business, BUT, I also don’t want to work such long hours, lose my freedom, get overwhelmed, get burned out again, spend less time with my family and friends”…
Peeling away these layers will reveal your Internal Conflict and Resistance.
For example, in classical literature Romeo had an internal conflict that “YES”, he loves Juliet “But” he is not able to be with her. ???
2.2 Ask Yourself – What Is the Downside to Success?
Some people are usually stumped by this question – “What do you mean? Of course there are no downsides to Success?”…
That used to be my response also, until I dug a big deeper and really explored my truths.
So, I encourage you to think a little deeper and further and explore your honest feelings…
If you’re not where you want to be, that is your evidence that you have some form of emotional resistance going on, getting in your way, and holding you back.
Don’t regard it as a negative. Use it practically to uncover the problem.
Why would you not be attracting what you want? What’s your “Yes, But”? You want this Success, “Yes, But”? What’s going on here underneath the surface? What’s your internal conflict and emotional resistance?
In previous Blog post, we explored some of the reasons counter feelings and sentiments that may work against – loss of freedom, time etc.
Sometimes, people want to change but somehow they don’t really want things to be too different. They want a part of it, but there’s something threatening lurking in the prospect of how things could be. Sometimes the stakes are too high.
2.3 Pay Attention – You Can Usually “Feel” It
Take note of the physical feelings you get.
For example, that sense of anxiety, frustration… trying too hard… the knot in the pit of your stomach, congestion in your chest or throat… that sudden feeling of breathlessness or your heart skipping a beat when an unpleasant thought enters… feeling anxious, tingles up and down your spine, or arms, or whatever.
When you note those “feelings”, what are the associated thoughts that trigger those feelings?
2.3 Monitor Your Own Truth
Every time you think, do or say something, make a mental note and test your truth. Are you being true to your feelings or are you in a state of resistance?
Give yourself a score of between 1-10 (10 being total truth and 1 being total denial).
See how you do after a few days. Your results may be quite surprising…
Step 3: Use Techniques and Tools to Clear Your Resistance
Commit to doing the work as above and you’ll get results.
Meditation and quieting your mind and emotions is integral to all of this.
A very effective technique that has been used with great success is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
Briefly it’s like emotional acupuncture or acupressure where you access energy systems in your body by physically tapping on energy meridian points – to release emotional conflict, feelings that get in the way, and any kind of resistance to abundance you may have.
Visualization and Affirmations – every day reinforce in your mind what you desire, familiarize yourself with the experience. By doing so, you will become more familiar, and either feelings will come up to confirm that is exactly what you want, or feelings that it’s not right for you after all etc.
Step 4: Be Really Persistent – Don’t Give Up Too Soon
Many people give up way too soon. Without a doubt, this is challenging and confronting work. But, just keep at it, if it’s truly want you want!
You have to be committed to being in this for the long haul. It’s a major personal development journey in your life. It’s a true test of just how much you want it. And, keep reminding yourself about the rewards!!!
The goal is to get rid of as much Internal Conflict and Resistance as humanly possible, so that you can get back to, and reconnect with, your true nature, and effortlessly live your life as you want and desire, based on what you’re here to do.
