Affirmations and Intentions To Help You Along Your Journey…

Intentions and Energy and their powerful impact on your Success and ability to Manifest have been a key focus of recent Blog posts.

Here’s a wonderful Affirmation Intention that I have paraphrased from an interview I heard with Rhonda Byrne (author of “The Secret” Book and Movie) that you can use at night as you’re going to sleep for the following day (especially when you may be feeling a bit challenged).

It’s a perfect complement to James Ray’s Recreating technique I featured in a recent Blog post.

Manifestation Made Easier, Using the Power of Your Mind in Your Daily Practice

Recreating events positively in your mind, perhaps that had not gone so well, is a great way to shift your Intentions and Energy into a positive state.

When events don’t go as well as you had hoped, it’s important not to submit to the negativity and refocus onto the positive by recreating in your mind how you would have liked the event to have played out.

Here’s a wonderful tip from James Ray I found recently that you can incorporate into your own daily practice, which I highly recommend you do.

I sure have, and have had much Fun doing so…  And I’ve also added my own further practical daily applications to expand the possibilities.  I hope they help you too… Read more

Intentions and Energy and Their Impact On Your Success

In ‘The Secret’ Book and companion Movie about the Law of Attraction, and on the many television programs that featured it, the participating Teachers spoke a great deal about Intentions and Energy and the role they play in creating our lives and our ability to achieve Success and get what we want and desire.

The media coverage was extensive, with major television programs like the Oprah Show, Larry King Live, Ellen Degeneris, CBS, and many others covering the topic.  And with TV’s power to reach a much wider audience, many more people became intrigued to learn all they could about the principles.

So, what are some of the Key Lessons we can learn from what they said? …       Read more

Intentions Planning for a Magnificent Success Achieving 2010!

by · 5 Comments

Intentions Planning is a great thing to do right now as 2009 draws to a close.  It’s a fantastic time of the year to cast forward your thinking and plan and prepare for a fabulous new year 2010.

So, let’s make the most of this special time, and get ready for a great kick-start to 2010.

It’s been said – “If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail” (Unknown). Or – “Failures don’t plan to fail; they fail to plan” (Harvey MacKay)

And, on the other hand – “Plans… are made to be tinkered with—and eventually torn up” (by the wonderful innovative, “outside the box”, Thriving on Chaos, Tom Peters)

My view is you need a combination of both – Planning for sure, but not be too obsessive or rigid about it, and stay open to adjust your Plan, intuitively and inspirationally, for better things.

Getting the balance right is the key, so you get the absolutely best benefit for YOU.

And, that is to get your Plan clear and mapped out so you have a clear Vision and Action Plan ahead to follow.

But then stay flexible, because it needs to be a living, breathing plan that evolves and can be flexibly adjusted responsively, as things inevitably change…

I also prefer to talk about Intentions (and Dreams) rather than Resolutions (of the New Year variety) and Desired Achievements rather than Goals.

Your ability to sense, intuit, and take Inspired Action, with speed, is vitally important.

So, here are some Guidelines for your Intentions Planning:

1. Identify and Set Your Intentions

Be very clear and decide what you want and desire. When you do so, with laser sharp clarity, you engage your conscious and sub-conscious minds, and the Universe can then step in to set in motion, draw to you and manifest what you want.

2. Be Very Clear and Specific

Really get into all the details and note them down. Visualize, imagine, and describe how it “feels” to have achieved your Intentions as if Right Now! More on this later…

3. Assemble Your List of Intentions

Under the following headings, or adapt and re-organize the List as you desire to suit your specific needs and preferences – as long as it makes sense to you, and feels good for you.

You can do this on paper, on your computer, use the Work Sheet document I’ve prepared for you here, or use  mind mapping software.

But do commit to the written word. As Mark Victor Hansen (“Chicken Soup for the Soul” Co-Author) says – “Don’t just think it, ink it!”

Business / Career Intentions and Goals
Business Development
Career / Professional Development
Financial Goals

Personal Intentions and Goals
Health and Wellness
Personal Development
Relationship/s
Leisure time
Social Responsibility/Giving Back/Making a Difference

Under each heading, or if you’re using a table format, add a column to the right, and set 3 to 5 Specific Desired Achievements (or Goals) with timeframes.

4. Really “FEEL” Your Intentions and Get into the ‘Emotion’

By making your Intentions very specific and energized with emotion you create compelling ‘Desired Achievements’ (or Goals) to aim for, that drive you toward what you want, and equally attracts the desired outcomes to you.

Get all your senses involved. If you can’t get emotionally excited and energized by what you’re aiming for, it’s very likely you’ll find excuses to NOT achieve your Intentions.

Dr Joe Vitale talks about “Nevillizing” Your Goal, and “feeling” every part of what it “feels” like to have achieved what you’ve desired. (I’ll address this further in a future Blog post).

5. Be Very Clear About Your “WHY” Reasons You Want These Intentions

Your “WHY” Reasons will give you focus, direction, and fuel to drive through and overcome obstacles. They’ll keep you on track and give you traction.

Reality Check Questions – Does this Intention create passion in your heart and soul and a “fire in your belly”? Do you have a burning and compelling desire to achieve your Intention?

6. Be in Integrity and Authenticity

Make sure your Intentions are powered by what YOU want and desire, and fulfill your Life Purpose, and not what other people think or want.

If your Intentions are driven by seeking the approval of others, you’re likely to find excuses and ways to sabotage yourself.

Always be true to YOU by being Authentic and in Integrity.

7. Always Dream Big

Big dreams and ideas require you to grow in order to achieve them. You’ll attract the people, resources and opportunities into your life you need to make your Dreams and Intentions manifest.

8. Set Intentions that will Stretch and Grow You

Intentions facilitate your personal growth and the person you become through the process and journey. They’re a means to an end to your personal development.

Reality Test Questions – Will this Intention make me stretch, develop and grow? Will it show me how to become a bigger person on the journey to achieving it?

9. Realistic and Achievable

Don’t overestimate what you can achieve, otherwise you’ll set yourself up for failure and disappointment.

Conversely, don’t underestimate either. You want to challenge yourself, and extend yourself beyond your current limits.

By setting Intentions that are achievable (not mediocre), you place yourself in Integrity. You experience and savor Success and Achievement, and Success enables and generates further Success.

10. Provide Value and Service to Others

When your Intentions involve service and contributing to others, it also accelerates the achievement of your Intentions and Goals.

It introduces a “wind at your back factor”. People, opportunities, resources and circumstances naturally appear and are attracted to initiatives and activities that make a difference in people’s lives.

Reality Test Questions – Will achieving this Intention provide value to others? Will it genuinely help me to grow as a person and fulfill My Life Purpose?

11. Make your Intentions and Desired Achievements (or Goals) Measurable

What specifically, how much and by when (set a timeline due date). Add them to your Work Sheet.

Reality Test Questions – Does your Intention (and its target date) frighten and excite you simultaneously? Does it “push the envelope”?

Enjoy the process of setting your Intentions for 2009. Make it FUN! You can use and adapt the Work Sheet I’ve provided for you.

And, then let’s get on with achieving them and making 2010 your best year ever.

Please let me know how you go. I would love to hear from you.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Super Successful 2010!…

Blessings and Gratitude!

To Your Success!

The 100 Day Challenge – Let’s Do It!

It’s not too late to make the most of the next and final 90-100 days of 2009!…  It’s never ever too late to ‘make a difference’ in your life…

We all began this year at GO!  We did our Intentions Planning earlier in the year – http://www.yoursuccessmasterynow.com/intentions/50/

And now we are well on our way to achieving our final outcomes, and the most important end-of-year assessment round-up.

The big difference in how much we’ve achieved Our Success will be determined by what we’ve done along the way en route during the year.  Goals set, actions taken, and results realized determine if you get to call this year 2009 a Success, or otherwise.

September 23rd just passed few days ago, and was an important date as it marked the 100 day countdown of 2009.

So, we’re now looking at the 90 Day/last quarter period of 2009.   So, let’s gather and recoup, and make the most of this period.

With that in mind, I have put together a number of questions for you to consider as you progress toward the finish line for 2009:

1. What specific results have you achieved so far this year?
2. Are you healthier, wealthier, and wiser?
3. Are you winning, losing or just holding ground?
4. What results are you committed to achieve by the end of the year?
5. How have you grown and what have you learned this year?
6. Is there any unfinished business that needs to be tended to in your life?
7. Are you actively pursuing what’s most important on a daily basis?
8. What habits do you need to change to ensure better results?
9. What is the key issue that inhibits your ability to perform at your best?

You must live to answer and honor these questions, because when it comes to the last 90-100 days of the year, every day and everything you do counts.

With that in mind, I wanted to share with you an exciting opportunity to finish the year strong – it’s called the 100 Day Finish Strong Challenge!

And you can learn more here:  http://bit.ly/br6PY

One thing we all have in common is that we all love a challenge. For some it could be a goal that puts you to the test, an obstacle that says you can’t beat me, a belief system that is begging for a breakthrough, or even a mountain that just dares you to climb it.

Whatever it is, you’re attitude should be BRING IT ON, as there’s nothing quite like a good old fashioned challenge to see what you’re made of, to push the boundaries and tests your limits as it is ONLY when we overcome these trials that we get to reap the sweetest rewards.

Gary Ryan Blair, otherwise know as The Goals Guy has put together the most comprehensive approach to goal setting and performance enhancement.

The 100 Day Finish Strong Challenge is a structured 14-week performance improvement program to achieve a number of challenging goals and finish the year strong.

You will be provided with a performance plan, a disciplined implementation process, daily measurement systems, and a very unique accountably tool along with specific tactics and strategies to attain your goals.

So what are you waiting for? The clock is ticking and if you want to seriously improve your life and corresponding results, I encourage you to check out the 100 Day Finish Strong Challenge today as it will be one of the smartest decisions you’ll make all year.

I wish you a great and hugely successful home stretch during these last 90-100 days and encourage you to dream big dreams and take the necessary actions to make them reality.

To Your Success!

Kathy  ;-)

P.S.  Make sure you make the most of this last 90-100 days of 2009.  It’s not too late to ramp up your plan for success.  You can make use of the 100 Day Finish Strong Challenge to help you achieve your Goals.

Do You Fancy Yourself as a Social Entrepreneur?

by · 10 Comments

A vitally important part of the Law of Attraction process is genuinely ‘feeling’ and ‘expressing’ Gratitude and Appreciation, and engaging, with integrity and right intentions, in the ‘Giving’ and ‘Receiving’ cycle.

I’m sure you’ve become aware of Oprah Winfrey’s “Big Give” and how important and huge the wave of “Giving Back” and helping others has become.  And, which bring back enormous reciprocal benefits to you in turn…

I’m sure you also would have come across recent terms that have entered our everyday language, like SocialPreneur or Social Preneur, or even SpiritPreneur, and SpiritualPrenuer…

“Giving Back” and “Causing Good Things” to happen in your Community have become part of our evolving consciousness to a higher level, and a growing part of our day-to-day vernacular, and desired way of “being”…

Do you fancy yourself as a Social Entrepreneur?  Have you wondered how you may become involved?

If you have, then I thought you’d really like an early “heads-up” about a new breed Social Community Network that allows you to do just that exactly… and takes Social Networking and Social Media Marketing to its next, new evolved level…

It’s a project I’ve been involved with very closely in its recent development, so I can speak about it first-hand with integrity, and I highly recommend.

Cagora is a new social Community Network and Marketplace that is opening up officially with a public launch in April 2009.

Cagora, the company behind this new style of Community Network website, is a one-stop Learning, Meeting and Marketplace – a network of over 25,000 Local and Special Interest Communities, each acting as a one-stop Community for that particular topic, for example, the city of San Francisco (local), or an interest like Law of Attraction (special interest).

I’m sure you’ll be hearing a lot of ‘buzz’ about Cagora in coming months.  So you’ll want to check this out really quickly right now.  And, you’ll want to register for your fr-ee account and do that RIGHT NOW today!

Cagora is being touted as possibly the next Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc. Wouldn’t you have liked to have been in on those ventures when they were just starting up?

Note:  The name Cagora comes from Agora, which was an open marketplace and public assembly in ancient Greece.  The “C” represents Community, and the name Cagora represents a Community Marketplace online similar to the Ancient Greek Agora.

With Cagora, you can actually “Do Good” and earn an income at the same time… The cornerstone of Cagora is the ‘Double Feel Good Factor’… earning an extra income for yourself while at the same time “doing good” for others (80% of profits go back to Members and nominated Charities and Community Groups).

It’s an innovation in Internet Marketing called Community Networking and Community Marketing where you use the power of “Community” to also build your business.

Rob Anderson is the person behind Cagora, and I’ve had the great opportunity to work closely with Rob over the past 7 months in bringing Cagora to launch.

See my recent blog post about my involvement.

I’ll keep it as simple as this for the time being.  There are many other layers and benefits to Cagora, which I will outline for you further later on.

But for now, the main thing is, you should get in there right NOW, and register.  There are big incentives to do that right now (double commissions and life-long bonuses).

You have nothing to lose by doing so – it’s a “no-brainer”!  This time next year, you’ll be kicking yourself if you don’t do this now.

If you get in now, I will work with you personally, and help you make the most of your involvement with Cagora.

Let me know what you think.  And when you register, email me or leave a comment below to let me know that you have, and I’ll be in touch.

Blessings

Kathy ;-)

Have You Set Your Intentions for 2009?

by · 1 Comment

“Dreams and Intentions” are more powerful than Resolutions.  They come from the heart and spirit, from your passions…  “Desired Achievements” are more meaningful and powerful than Goals…

OK, we’re now well into February, the second month of the year.  Have you set your Intentions for 2009?
As you may have already noted, I’m a strong believer in setting your Intentions as a way of driving your goals, or preferably your ‘Desired Achievements’, supported by taking effective Inspired Action (rather than the frivolous, paper-thin, and short-lived New Year Resolutions palaver).

If you’ve already set your Intentions at the end of last year, or in early January, that’s great!  You could also use this opportunity to do a quick refresher review from the vantage point of the second month (still early) of the year.

If you haven’t set your Intentions yet, it’s never too late!  There’s no time like Right Now to take action and kick-start your new plans so you hit the ground running to achieve greater success in 2009.

Really, any time is a good time to focus on getting clear about your Intentions and setting them in motion.

My intention and purpose is to help you with that.

Let’s make the most of this over the next few days as we progress into February and 2009.

How will you get what you want in 2009?  What have you/will you commit to doing differently in 2009 to achieve more success and Abundance in your life?

Here are a few guidelines and tips to follow, reality check questions you can use as criteria, and a Working Sheet process to use – see point 11.

1.  Identify and Set Your Intentions

Be very clear and decide what you want and desire.  Once you do, with real crystal clarity, you engage your mind and sub-conscious and the Universe can step in to set in motion, draw to you and manifest what you want.

2.  Be Very Clear About Your Reasons WHY You Want These Intentions

Your Reasons WHY will keep you on track, give you focus, direction, and the fuel and power to drive through and surmount the obstacles.

Reality Check Questions – Do you have a burning and compelling desire to achieve your Intention?  Does this Intention create passion in your heart and soul and a “fire in your belly”?

3.  Integrity and Authenticity

Make sure your Intentions are driven by what YOU want and desire and come from a place within you, are about you, right for you, and fulfill your life purpose. Not what other people think or want.

If your Intentions are driven by seeking the approval of others, you’re likely to find ways (subtle and not so subtle) to sabotage yourself, derail and not achieve them.  If your Intention is because of someone else on any level, it’s often because it’s a ‘should’ rather than a true desire.

The greatest service you can pay yourself is to be true to YOU by being authentic and in integrity

4.  Be Very Specific

Really get into all the details and note them down.  Visualize, imagine, and describe how it “feels” to have achieved your Intentions as if Right Now!

5.  Get into the ‘Emotion’ of Your Intentions

Get all your senses involved.  If you can’t get emotionally excited and energized by what you’re aiming for, it’s highly likely you’ll find a way NOT to achieve your intentions.

By making your Intentions very specific and energized with emotion you create compelling ‘Desired Achievements’ (or goals) to shoot for that propel you towards what you want and equally attracts the desired outcomes to you.

6.  Always Dream Big

Big dreams and ideas require you to grow in order to achieve them.  You’ll attract the people, resources and opportunities into your life you need to make your Dreams and Intentions manifest.

7.  Set Intentions that will Stretch and Grow You

Intentions facilitate your personal growth and the person you become through the process and journey.  In many respects they’re a means to an end to your personal development.

What you learn and new skills you acquire propel you further forward.  Remember to “push the envelope”.  Become a bigger person.

Reality Test Questions – Will this Intention make me stretch, develop and grow?  Will it show me how to become a bigger person on the road to achieving it?

8.  Realistic and Achievable

Don’t overestimate what you can achieve, otherwise you’ll set yourself up for failure and disappointment.

Conversely, don’t underestimate either.  You want to challenge yourself, “push the envelope”, and extend yourself beyond your current limits of innovation and performance.

By setting Intentions that are achievable (not mediocre), you place yourself in Integrity.  You experience and savor success and achievement.  And success enables and generates further success.

9.  Get the Balance Right
Between What is Achievable and Stretches You

Don’t set yourself up for failure.  Do aim to drive yourself that extra step or steps.  When you set Intentions that are achievable but stretch you at the same time, you are also in Integrity.

10.  Provide Value and Service to Others

When your Intentions involve service and contributing to others it also accelerates the achievement of your Intentions and goals.

11.  Write Down Your Intentions

It’s vitally important to write down your Intentions.  If they just remain in your headspace and thoughts, they tend to dissipate, dilute and lose potency and shape.

As Mark Victor Hansen (co-author of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series) says – Don’t just think it, ink it!”

On your computer is absolutely perfectly fine – great in fact!

Also, write down your Reasons WHY you want this specific Intention

.  WHY is it so important to have this in your life?

Then underpin and expand on your Intentions with specific Desired Achievements (or goals and objectives), and target timeframes.

Draw up a List of your Intentions under the following headings, or adapt the List to suit your specific needs and preferences.

Business / Career Intentions and Goals

            Business Development
            Career / Professional Development
            Financial Goals

Personal Intentions and Goals

            Health and Wellness
            Relationship/s
            Leisure time
            Personal Development
            Social Responsibility/Giving Back/
            Making a Difference

Under each heading, set 3 to 5 Specific Desired Achievements (or goals) with timeframes.

You can also use and adapt the Work Sheet you can find here.
12.  Make your Intentions and and Desired Achievements (or goals) Measurable

What specifically, how much and by when (set a timeline due date).  Add them to your Work Sheet.

Reality Test Questions – Does your Intention (and its target date) frighten and excite you simultaneously?  Does it “push the envelope”?

 13.  21 Days – 90 Days

It takes 21 days to form a new habit – of practicing that new habit every single day.  If you miss a day, you have to go back to day 1 and start over again.

It takes 90 days to reinforce that new habit and integrate it into your way of being.

For further information and guidance, refer to two of my articles -

90 Day Action Planning – to Kick Start or Boost Your Business or Personal Project

90 Day Action Planning – Guiding Questions to Help With Your Business, Career, or Personal Life Plans

I also will be covering some further tools to help you implement Your Intention Setting and Achieving process in upcoming blog posts.

Enjoy the process of setting your Intentions for 2009.  Make it fun!  And, then let’s get on with achieving them and making 2009 your best year to date.  Please let me know how you go.  I would love to hear from you.

Blessings and Gratitude!

Happiness and Abundance Mindset – Make the Most of the Significance of 8 August – 8/8/08!…

by · 4 Comments
Lately, I’ve been discussing “Happiness” a lot with my Friend Alex, for many good reasons relating to a project we’ve been working on for the past month – and the amazingly powerful influence of Happiness, what creates it, and causes it to rise and subside…

So, it’s interesting to note that we are now one week into August, and today/tomorrow (depending on where you live) is 8/8/08 – the 8th day of the 8th month of 2008.

According to Chinese tradition, 8 is the symbol of Abundance (therefore it’s no coincidence the Olympics are opening in Beijing on 08-08-08).  It’s also the sign for Infinity when you turn 8 on its side.

The number 8 is also especially meaningful to me because it has always been my special Happy, fortunate number, as it happens to be my birth date – 8 October.

So, my intention is to make the most of this significant time and attract and create much Happiness and Abundance during this month of August, and beyond.

So, I invite you to join me
– no matter when you read this post, dedicate the month to creating Happy, Abundant, Positive experiences in your life.

Starting right now and continuing each day, I intend to “Be Happy”.  I will wake up to each new day “being” Happy, and to making it a positive and productive day.  I’ll focus on being Happy right throughout my day, and acknowledge and welcome the positive, and dis-empower the negative.  I’ll go to bed each night and reflect Happily about the good things that happened, and smile forgivingly at the not so good.

And, I will avoid as many potential sources as possible of less than happy things.

Here are some more things you can do:

>   Make a concerted solid commitment to “Be Happy” no matter what.  It’s amazing how you can slide into the “feeling”, like stepping in and out of one dimension into another, if you make the decision and “choose” to do so.

So much of Happiness is attitude and perception.  How you choose to view, interpret and react to something.  Sometimes the smallest external triggers (yes OK, the big ones too) can be amazing catalysts to plunging you into the Happiness Mindset and Heartset.

And you’ll find that Happiness is cumulative – Happy thoughts create great “feelings”.  The more you feel Happy, the more you’ll be able attract to you and create the positive experiences you desire in your life.

>

Look around you and “Appreciate” and be “Grateful” for the Happy things already in your life.  “Appreciation” is a higher vibration than “Gratitude”, but the two together are a mighty powerful combination…

>   For the rest of the month, don’t read newspapers or watch TV news.  Make it a bad news free zone.  No politics.  No fuel prices.  No price increases.  No housing crisis.  No crime.  No violent or depressing movies.  Or any other draining, depressing, sapping influences.>   Focus on pursuing Happy, positive and inspiring activities that uplift you and move you closer to achieving your Goals.

>   Surround yourself with Happy positive “up” people that through your very interaction make you both feel even more optimistic and hopeful about what’s happening and to come.

>   Read only Happy books, or research positive topics on the internet.
>   Go and see a Happy uplifting inspirational movie with a Friend, and make it a really Happy occasion.

>   Take a few days break and treat yourself to a short holiday, a long weekend getaway perhaps.
>   Involve your friends, family or colleagues to join you and do the same …

What else will you do?

I’m really interested to know, so please share your ideas, suggestions and plans for what you will do and leave a comment here below.

Have a great August!

Many Blessings

Kathy

PPS:  “If you have the ability to desire it, the Universe has the ability to deliver it. You’ve just got to line up with what you want, which means—be as Happy as you can be as often as you can be there, and let everything else take care of itself.”  (Abraham-Hicks)
